INDUSTRIAL FINGER JOINTER 3870 SHAPER & FJA-100 ASSEMBLY MACHINE: Specifications: -- Model 3870 Dual Finger Jointer Shapers with feed chain speeds of 45 FPM via 5 HP fixed speed electric drive.Shaper is furnished with (2) 1-13/16” dia. 10 HP cutterhead spindles and (2) 5 HP trim saw motors and an automatic roll type glue spreader with pressurized glue tank. -- Production rates are: 60 lugs/Min with lugs on 9" centers and blocks up to 6” wide or 45 lugs per minute with lugs on 12" centers and blocks up to 8” wide. -- Shaper will accommodate blocks from 5-1/2” minimum to 48” maximum length x 1-1/2” minimum to 8” maximum width x 5/8” minimum to 2” maximum thickness. -- FJA-100 Finger Joint Assembly Machine with automatic operation and pneumatic pressure; assembles blocks up to 16’ long. The machine stops during the cut-off and press cycle. Variable feed speeds up to 100’ per minute. -- Offer includes a reconditioned Shaper Section, Assembly Machine, Glue Applicator, and Electrical System. -- This System requires (3) people to operate; (1) to feed the Shaper, (1) to inspect and transfer blocks to the Assembly Machine, and (1) to off-bear the Assembly Machine. -- All equipment will be checked out completely including, but not limited to, all motors being megged and tested, all bearings reviewed and replaced where necessary, the chains, rails, and hold downs reviewed and replaced as needed. -- The buyer is encouraged to inspect the machine and test run their parts when the reconditioning has been completed. Requires buyer's material prior to the run off. -- Cutterheads and tooling are not included but can be supplied at additional costNOTE: -- APQUIP Gluing System can be adapted to this System. Cost is unknown at this time. -- Delivery is approximately (8 - 10) weeks after receipt of deposit. -- Payment Terms: 50% deposit with order, 40% upon completion of successful run-off, balance upon completion of run-off.
