TORIT-DONALDSON ADMC AD8 DRYFLO Cartridge Dust Collector. A Mist collector designed for long-lasting high collection efficiency capture of coolant and machining oil mists in metalworking applications. Even smaller amounts of dust can be filtered in the dirty air stream. -- DRYFLO is a proprietary cartridge which outperforms electrostatic precipitators and mist collectors utilizing standard HVAC envelope and cassette filters. Filter unit features a unique air-side filter retention system allowing for quick filter changes with minimal worker contact with collected oil. -- Also feature three-stage Filtration via a.) prefilter, b.) wrap allowing, c.) the filter cartridge to drain and coalesce smaller coolant mist droplets in to larger droplets. Plus optional fourth stage HEPA filters available for applications where smoke exists or additional efficiency of discharge air is required. -- Overall data: Capable of 17,600 CFM; (8) Filter Cartridges, 1,760 sq. ft. of filter area, -- Complete with: Ground mounted fan powered by a 40 HP motor, belt-driven. Fan includes a variable volume inlet. In prior application clean air was not retruned to building. -- Blower currently setup for approx. 15,000 CFM with 40 HP, Baldor Super-E, 324T frame, 1.780 RPM motor. -- Enclosure dimensions: 133" long, 68" deep, 160" high. Filter weight is 7,300 lbs.
