KIMWOOD Smithway 6-head top and bottom Sander5 Ft. wide sander with 62-inch maximum panel width capacity. -- 1st top and bottom heads opposed contact drums with 13.5" diameter steel drums driven by 150 HP direct drives. -- 2nd top and bottom heads are offset opposed contact drums with 13.5" diameter steel drums driven by 125 HP direct drives. -- 3rd top and bottom heads are offset opposed combination contact roll and smoothing platen heads driven by 100 HP direct drives and "billy roll" backup. -- Final cleaning brushes top and bottom with 1 HP belt drive. -- Panel flow is left to right, with constant pass line height of 50 inches. -- Exhaust: 60,000 CFM at 8" static pressure. --Weight with motors: 78,000 lbs. Length: 288 inches.
