NORTHTECH NT-450HC Double Head Surfacing Planer; 18" x 6" Opening, 20 HP top & 15 HP bottom motor.Specifications: -- Motors V-belted to cutter heads at 6,000 RPM, min. stock thickness 1/4". -- Carpet style infeed with nice "pointy" fingers, sectional chipbreaker and chromed tables. -- Equipped with: Spiral carbide insert knife cutterheads with (9) rows of (20) knives per row of 4-sided inserts, each with a slight arch (radius) for better finish work. bearings are "Class 7" NKS brand. -- Feed works: 20 - 90 FPM driven by 3 HP variable speed drive. -- 1 HP motorized thickness adjustment and opening from 0" - 6" opening.
