Independent Cutter Heads Provide Smooth Operation and Less Maintenance
 The Pendu Model 2800B Board Chamfer offers high performance with minimal maintenance. Standard feed features for the 2800B include three horsepower electric gear drive with a variable speed controller operated from a remote pedestal. 80# chain with 4 heavy-duty push dogs, cam roller guided and auto chain tensioner for smoother operation and longer life. The tilt back, flush front design contributes to consistent feeding and allows for easy loading and unloading. It also features a mechanical auto re-stack at the board exit.
The 2800B Board Chamfer cutter features include 8” X 2” wide cutters with offset indexable carbide inserts for less chatter and a better finish. Each cutter head is independently controlled by an air cylinder which allows for easy change over from single sided chamfer to dual sided with the turn of a selector switch. Independent head design reduces moving weight which contributes to quicker cutter response and less wear and tear on moving parts. The 2800B is designed to allow easy access and removal of cutters. 240/480 electrical hook-up is required, lock-out panel and starters are not included in the base price.
